It's being reported here too. He is 14 now too, so unlikely to become any more valuable with time. I would have thought he must be one the most expensive show-jumpers ever sold surely?
well on her forum according to Lucretia everyone here is getting a bit previous as the horse is still at Alberts and he said Jose Larrocha is interested but no money has changed hands yet. So we will all have to wait and see wont we.

Wouldn't think so...he's 14 years and gelded. I would guess Albert just getting something back at the end of his career
Tomboy was sold a couple of weeks ago btw...there was a thread on here at the time. Went to Athina Onassis presumably for hubby to ride
I always admired Albert for refusing to sell Okidoki, but not now. All this bleating about partnerships has been annoying me for a while. Especially when one-half of these oh-so-wonderful pairings can be sold at the drop of a hat. Look at Pilgrim, Ariel, Mozart des Hayettes, and Rolette. Don't know about you, but I've hardly heard a whisper about any of them since they were sold. As for Athina Onassis - I've never even heard of her, and will probably never see Tomboy again. If this thread is true, then I'm really going to miss Okidoki. I do so wish owners and riders would stop this. It can't be much of a life for the horses either - passing through as many hands.

Athina Onassis is probably the wealthiest individual in world showjumping...she is the daughter and heir to Aristotle Onassis...the Greek shipping magnate who died when she was just a child. He was also famous for marrying Jackie Kennedy and i believe was either married to or had a 'fling' with Maria Callas. Her personal fortune was estimated at around £700m a couple of years ago. She is married to the Brazilian Olympic SJ'er Doda Miranda. Both he and Athina met whilst training at Rodriguo Pessoa's yard in Belgium and i believe their yard is also based there. I know that Athina has publicly declared in the past that she intends to represent Greece at the Olympics in SJ'ing....so i'm guessing that Tomboy is perhaps the horse she is thinking will allow her to do that. If you do a search for her on YouTube will see some clips of her jumping at some 4* shows....she is actually quiote a decent rider nowadays...and certainly has some nice horses
