Old cattle trailer?

Help; just been offered £250 for my c 1980 cattle trailer, twin axle which needs work on the brakes and hitch. It tows fine, generally sound with quite a new aluminium floor. I had hoped for a little more but maybe this is realistic? Thanks

Check how much to weigh in for scrap and don't accept less than that.

there is a whole world of difference in value between an 8ft and a 14ft trailer, the fact that it's old is not THAT relevant, and sorting brakes is not that big an issue either My stock trailer (only 8ft x 5ft Bateson) was about 20 years old when I bought it and it was considerably more than £250

I would take it to your local auctions, my partners parents bought an older cattle box from one & paid around £500 for it.

I've been looking for one and not even on eBay an ifor Williams comes up with a good floor for that money, but then often first offer is best offer! The real question is are you happy with that amount?
