I have a 16. inch brown leather saddle that says 'willow farm, faversham, Kent on it..' It came with my horse but it didn't fit him. It has a split in the leather on the seat & stitching has come undone at the back. Could've get this repaired or is it not worth it? the underneath of the leather is lovely x& soft.

If you're thinking of selling, a patch repair won't add value & replacing the whole seat is unlikely to be cost effective considering the current price a little known brand of saddle is likely to fetch. I know willow farm & its an "everyday" kind if place, not a "posh" name like for example Stubben or Albion.

Ok thanks for that.. Might just chuck it away then.

It depends how old it is really. Is the tree ok? older saddles often have broken trees but owners dont even realise. You could always put it to a saddler for a quote
