OK, so I'm not exactly worried about her, but my old lurcher has undergone a bit of a change recently.

Over the last year she had been getting very old, and I was beginning to worry about how long I had left with her. She stopped wanting to go for long walks. Was taking longer to get up on the sofa, slept most of the time and avoided the whippet.
But then about a month ago, she started to act really silly. She's been playing with toys, running around the house, playing with the whippet, jumping on the sofa, jumping up for hugs, barking at me all the time, demanding left overs, and it's really weird.
Everyone who comes over notices the difference and is almost shocked!

I'm not complaining about it, it's nice to see so much life in the old girl, but I'm scratching my head as to why.
Any ideas??

she has always been called puppy bray...cos she always acted like a puppy, hence she still gets called it, she still does a wobbly wall of death around the field, it looks mental

and makes me chuckle, and she gets toast for breakfast, as she goes mad when she hears the toaster pop, and she loves bread

My 8 year old bernese (average lifespan 7 so he is an old man) has done the exact same thing! He's acting more like a puppy than he ever has and is getting into more mischief than ever!
