The last few days Tink has been acting weird on and off. She's acted like this before, and it went away but this seems to come and go during the day...

Normally when she lies down she curls up into a tight ball, but now she just lies with her head raised, like the Sphinx...
When walking she seems stiffer and again holds her head level rather than sniffing about everywhere...
Reluctant to jump up steps/stiles...
Usually at lunch times she's under my feet waiting for a crust and will beg and dance about, but she has just been sitting in the corner and wont take food if offered to her.
I've also had to lift her food bowl up to her a couple of times for her to eat.

Now, all this suggests to me that her back/neck is sore and she can't stretch fully but I've had a prod and she makes no sign of any discomfort, and when she does jump/stretch there is no yelping or anything?

Also, she can be fine in the morning, racing about on her walk, eats breakfast and then weird at lunch, and back to normal again in the evening, or weird at breakfast and then jumping around at lunch. Some days she's fine all day.

She gets joint supplements, diet hasn't changed and she is still eating, drinking and pooping normally.

Any ideas of specific places to prod to see if I can work it out?
Thought for a while her sight was going due to the way she was walking/avoiding drops/ staying in corners, but she will follow a piece of food well with her eyes when shes "normal".

I have to pop into the vets at the weekend to pay the previous bill  so will mention it to them, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

If/when I take her to the vets, surely they'll do some prodding/stretching and get the same non reaction I did? :o
