Old hair on 11 month old filly

Stubborn old hair on an 11 month old filly. Slightly lighter colour. Someone told me this is a sign of worms. However she is thriving well and was de wormed in spring.

I have read that their first few coat changes can go a bit weird and that as they get older the cycle settles down. So it may be as simple as that. My yearling took ages to shed the last of her winter bumfluff though she is now fully in her summer coat.

That said, I'm worm counting my youngsters every 8 weeks so depending on when in "spring" she was wormed it's probably time to check or worm again anyway.
