Does anyone have any old Julip horses they don't want anymore? As I don't have any real horses in my life at the mo I'm collecting again. Happy to pay good prices for them of course :)

I have boxes of them, Magpie Models, Customised all sorts including Breyers. I am still in two minds what to do with them. I used to do a lot Live Shows before I got a real horse. Where we do we even start on pricing them up.

Feel free to DM me, I can help with pricing :)

Do you use Facebook? There's a number of specialist collector groups there now (Magpie, Julip) as well as more general (British Model Horse Collectors) where folk are often quite happy to help out with valuation if you can take photos :)

If not there's still a few websites (and maybe forums!) about who you might contact - the BECF (still, if you can believe it!), Chestnut Ridge, etc

(I still have my boxes from the 90s upstairs!)

Looking at sold prices on eBay is helpful too, although prices can vary depending on condition of the models. E.g. a Julip with the latex melting away would be worth a lot less than one in good condition :)

I did have a little look last year at the BECF - I used to go to meetings for that lol. I did see a few of the people I used to know where still doing it. I have a few really nice resins too - mostly AA.

I really need to bite the bullet and just get them out box by box. I have been in rented and moved around so much they are just sat in storage. I really should let them go...
