Anyone know of any charities that would recycle rosettes to earn some money?

It seems such a shame to watse them & lets face it - these days charitys seem able to recycle most things to help out.

Anyone ever looked into recycled the ribbon ? Surely they could help someone out - crime to throw them out - I have kept all mine since I was a kid as won't bin them - but would happily give them to charity if they'd help-

any ideas

I sold masses on ebay! Believe it or not, people actually seem to want them. I had about 5 bin liners full in the attic which I had been lugging round from house to house for years and decided to be ruthless. I went through them and picked out the ones that were really special to me and sold the rest - made quite a bit of money....

****joins in the whispering****...neither would I...I aint got that many

*whispers* I would never part with any of my rosettes.
*slinks out of post thinking...* "am I sad or what?"

That's what I used to say - let's see if you still feel like that in 30 years!!!

Seriously, I used to think I couldn't bear to part with them but then I wondered why I was keeping them. They just sit around in bin liners - I wouldn't put them up in a tack room now 'cos they were won so long ago by horses/ponies I now no longer have. I did keep a lot of the ones that had the most sentimental value!

I still have one from 1965.....runs off and hides..... I did bring myself to part with loads of old horse and hounds a few years ago as they had moved from house to house. I used to enjoy looking at them from time to time but no longer have a spare room for such things.

I dont have any
