Old spice for fly repellent

I keep seeing on internet that people are using Old Spice deodorant as fly repellant. any one used it? does it work?

Oh ok. Will have a look, flies are really bad at mo. Having tried most types of fly repellent as well as making my own I am still to find a really good one.

I have used Antimate in the past as it has a lot of Citronella in it. Quite a pleasant smell but you have to keep applying it as it will wear off. Using Equine America Citronella coat spray at the moment.
