Does anyone know if you can still get these? I really love mine, want another, but looks like the new ones have those disc fastening things at the front which I really don’t like. Also, has the material changed?

I feel your pain!
I love the old ones and can't seem to find one anywhere, made worse that my horse is a common size, 6ft 3. I have ended up getting the new style, and have to admit i am pleasantly surprised. The material seems the same and the disc closure is better than expected - although I would prefer the old closure.

Why do they feel the need to change something that already works!?

I love the disc closure as it is really quick to undo and stops angry grumpy rug phobic mare from biting me !!

Really annoying isn’t it! Such great rugs, I find they stay cooler in these than other materials, and the horse flies can’t stab them either.
Maybe I’ll to just lump it and try the disk closure, although on my other horse, it pulled really tight on his neck so I got rid…

Love my rugs and I'm a real fan of the disc. I bought mine 2 years ago so would class mine as the old type!!
