Gallavant 3 year old filly by Grannox (Grannus) x Sandro (Elite BEF Futurity) all clipped out and looking really grownup, can't wait for her to come out under saddle next season

It has been such a wonderful day getting updates on all the babies, I have hardly thought about my shoulder.

And to put icing on the cake, my youngest daughter Layla has just won her first endurance race of the new season

So life is not that bad after all

Speedy recovery. I would love to have some jumpes, to be able to practice with ours. Seems one of the liveries has forgotten we all contributed to the jump fund & has taken it upon herself to move them off the yard!!

That is a bit anti social, if you are not too far away from Claire, perhaps you could borrow her's, she is based near Bristol

Thanks cruiseline, if we were a bit nearer I would give it consideration. Someone suggested getting some drainpipes weighting them, then giving them a spray paint job. Will need to get something in place for spring next year though.

The only thing I don't like about the drainpipe is that they can splinter very badly and leave jagged edges. Is there not a centre near by that you could hire for an hour to put up a jumping lane

Or better still, put it on your christmas list to Santa (even just a few poles)

off topic, but i met claire the other day, we got chatting in a line up, she was very friendly!

Thank you hedgehog1, she is a very approachable, bubbly person, but it is always nice to know that not only your horses behave when out in public, but also that your children do too
