Just found out that Oliver Townend is doing SJ & Indoor XC clinics in november but i'm only on my 13.2hh pony who would look like an idiot next to the bigger horses and obviously we can't jump as high as them but should i still give it a shot and go? He's a brill jumper but obviously we are restricted by height.

Why not give it a whirl? Oliver's a nice enough guy, I doubt he'd be bothered your steed is only 13.2hh to be honest - you're paying him to teach you, not check out how tall you pony is compared to everybody elses! And look at some of best jumping ponies in the country - they jump huge!

It was really good yeah :) I borrowed a college horse at the time, as my mare had only been ridden a month lol so didn't quite think she'd be up for it! He was only about 15hh, it was split into groups of 4 riders who all were relatively about the same level-wise - example, not so confident riders/people with young or novice horses tended to be together if I remember rightly, then other groups with more 'serious' riders/horses in were grouped together.
Think it was hourly slots for each lesson and you did get your money's worth!
Was really good teaching wise, didn't get impatient and had a good laugh to get you doing things better.
I got a leg up and my horse got his arse slapped too! Haha :)

we've organised a few clinics here in the past (have a jumping one next week with Steven Hadley) and we always organise the groups with similar height horses and rider ability together so you are all on a par with each other.
