no, i know... have you ever done the challenge? Did you wear one?

I've done it and I don't own a body protector as I show jump, so you can either wear show jumping or x-country gear

The fences are jump4joy so its very safe with their safety cups and generally breakability!

I notice there are no Scottish venues whatsoever??

I looked at this but the secret optimum time element put me off. How slow or fast do they expect you to go?

Carlisle is the most North i think. Is it worth the journey?

All riders must be suitably dressed in either appropriate cross country colours or show jumping jackets.
We do encourage the combination of bright and contrasting outfits that reflect the vibrancy and individuality of the events
Hats must be worn at all times that the rider is mounted.
Body protectors are recommended

DD put it this way you cannot go too fast and it is generally total carnage as the course is built to be impossible to jump nicely with a big horse (think lines that are illegal BSJA!)

Well it depends!

There is a Blewbury Blue Chip 1m qualifier the next day when its at Hartpury, so probably not if I still haven't qualified

Its £18 to enter, but quite interesting get to show your horse every type of jump4joy fence. I might take Peer again for a laugh.

what's involved in this? I have the schedule and was looking at doing it is it all sjs but some mock XC and just one round?...
