It's not a crap purchasing system given that those who did their tickets with plenty of time to spare didn't have any problems.

You're trying to access it alongside thousands of others who have had a sudden change of heart

yeah, i know should have done it before but oh talked me out of it, too expensive, accomodation, travel etc but figured i only have to pay for tickets now, the rest can wait. Besides, he's out tonight

It clearly states though, it makes no difference if you purchase today or last week. So if you were, (like me) unable to do it until tonight you should still be able to access the tickets

So yes it's crap for those who had no choice of doing it tonight

Same problem for me too. Been trying for an hour. Guess it's all of us who forgot/had some other reason why we haven't tried until now crashing the system. Can't be bothered now I think. Too expensive anyway! £55 for a XC ticket?! Will get a better view from settee with Freeview

My family have also had a last-minute rush of blood to the head, but the site won't let them in. Given that the Olympic chief executive told the BBC today that he was 'confident that the site would hold up' to the expected last minute rush, I think it is pretty poor

I went to the tickets page and scrolled down to where there was an email form to fill in, it's on ticket page or the home page but each time i try to find it now it redirects me!

I took all my other pages off. So you just have the olympic one processing. It should say something like please wait etc.

Close all your other tabs off including this one and keep waiting. Good luck. Its headline sky news that the website is down/very busy keep waiting

Thanks Janey. Have closed down all, and even tried going in by my activation email, although already activated, but still no joy. Can see it on BBC news, but doesnt sound like they will extend?!! At least you have managed. Trust me to leave it so late!
