Is anyone going this year?

I am going on the Thursday evening, I am taking my younger cousin with me as an early Christmas suprise.

I wanted to go on the thursday as its puissance night but going to go Saturday afternoon instead because of getting back again x

I havent been for years, whats the shopping like there? X If its awesome i'm de-friending people so i can have less xmas presents to buy and more money to spend on me and horses!! lol x

I don't understand why the puissance is on on a Thursday evening this year? usually it is a Friday.

The shopping is fantastic, it does get very crowded though so best to leave yourself plenty of time to shop. I can't remember what time the shopping village opens, it does say on your ticket though (I think it is early afternoon, but really not sure!)

I wouldn't eat there however as the food is so overpriced. I tend to eat before I go in and take some drinks and crisps in with me. Much cheaper then buying inside and you can save that money for Horsey stuff instead

I'm going Thursday and Friday evening! Last year the shopping village was open after 10am till 9pm may be different now though. Does get busy! And you don't have to pay any extra for it I've been once and it was fab. I hope you have a good time too!

Yes, I'm going Friday afternoon and taking my 9 year old - I've been to HOYS before but not Olympia so we're both very excited! DH has told me he's not going to bother buying me anything for Christmas, i can just get my own presents there

Be warned the shopping at Olympia is very expensive. There are not many bargains to be had, so if you are going solely to shop, don't bother!!
Phizzogs if you have an evening ticket, you can get into the shopping village from 1pm.
