Just thought id spread the word that Olympia is on Groupon today. Tickets are available for Monday and Wednesday performances and they are offering pretty big saving. I just got two tickets for Wednesday afternoon, second class seats for £38, was going to pay more than that for 1 ticket so well chuffed!

Thank you for the tips. Can you explain how it works ? I am not used to Groupon. Do you get a voucher from Groupon and then book on the Olympia web site with a special code or do you just book on Groupon and that's it ?
Do they give the choice of choosing your seat ?
Do you get a seat number ?

You book it directly through Groupon and they e-mail you a 'ticket', I'm assuming they assign you to seats but am going to check this. You do choose what banding of seats you want (1,2,3 or 4). Hope that helps :)

hopefully getting a ticket for me and my bestie's xmas present for the wednesday afternoon performance! just need to sort trains but looking online they don't look that expensive from york to kings cross!

Absolutely delighted OP. I was trying to book tickets at full price this afternoon but the website was really awkward so gave up.
I've just joined groupon and got the tickets I wanted at a fraction of the price. Yay, happy me !
Thank you.

I've just got the Groupon offer but it says you just print the page and take it along. When I've gone to Olympia in the past I've always been given a seat with my ticket. Not sure what is going to happen? I've booked tickets for myself and a couple of others, we all have different reference numbers but hopefully we'll be able to sit together?? What does everyone think? Has anyone done the offer (if it was there) last year and can tell me how it works?

Fizz that's exactly what I thought!
I may ring Olympia tomorrow to check we don't need to book seats.
They must have a plan because so many tickets have been sold through Groupon.

Yes I found it quite confusing because if you book on the Olympia web site you can select the area where you are going to be seated so I am quite sure seats must be allocated in some way. If one of you found out tomorrow can you let us all know please ?
I have tried to use the voucher code to book on Olympia site but it says invalid code so not working that way for sure.

I'm just about to book seats, and have had the same thought.. don't want my kids sitting half an arena away from me!! Will investigate and report back...

Pretty peed off! Need a 'child' ticket for a 15 year old ! meaning if i have to buy an adult ticket from groupon then a child direct from website!

It's cheaper I think to buy through Groupon and just buy an adult ticket. You only get 30% off child tickets on certain days and that's less than the Groupon discount.

We tried to book Groupon this morning. It got very confusing. You have to book your ticket, but you don't get to know your seat until you get to Olympia. As we have kids with us, we don't want to take a chance that we aren't seated together, so we have gone for the 30% discount route instead. Costs more but at least we know where we are sitting.
(Code BHS still gives 30%, and there's a wider choice of performances).

I wouldnt mind travelling alone but wouldnt like to be there alone! If anyone wants to buddy up let me know!

Jessi - I am going Monday evening -- second price tickets taking my son and likely meeting my daughter there. Son and I will be travelling from Colchester station if you wanted to join us? I plan to try and go up in the afternoon so we can look around the shopping hall.

Silly question as I haven't been to Olympia before (thanks OP!)
If you have a ticket to an evening performance, can you go to the shopping village during the day?

Looks like ticket gives also access to the shopping village....from 2pm I think...if you look on the Olympia Horse Show website

"Second, Third and Fourth Price Seats A seat in the main arena for either the afternoon or evening performance. Afternoon ticket holders have free access to the morning session on the day of their visit. Allows access to the Shopping Village."

I rang groupon and they seem to think that if you buy the tickets together at the same time and turn up to Olympia at the same time as one party you should get seats together...

I emailed Olympia Horse Show and this is the reply I just received :
"You will be allocated a seat when you arrive at the Venue so you don’t need to worry about doing anything else.
The performance starts at around 7:30 and you will have access to the shopping village from 2:00 – all of this is included in the ticket."
