Hi I'm planning a trip to London to visit the Olympia show. I would appreciate some help with a couple of questions and any tips the veteran attendees might offer.

What type of class is the Veteran Horse Showing and Dodson & Horrell Show Championships? (I'm from across the pond and not familiar)

Who competes in the Team Services Showjumping? (professionals, amateurs, international riders) Do people qualify to participate?

I've picked up from other threads suggestions on offer codes, access to the best bar - much appreciated.

Besides the FEI class on Saturday & Puissance, what do you think are the 'must sees'?

Hi!
The veteran class is a showing championship that people have qualified there golden oldies for through the year.
Team services is a team showjumping competition for army, police etc
Other top classes.....
6 bar
Masters
Shetland grand national
And the Christmas finale!!
Have fun!

I've been going to Olympia every year since I was 6, I'm now 24!! Its a fantastic atmosphere, great shopping and the quality of competitors is so high! Not sure about the showing classes, we tend to go to a Friday or Saturday performance, the Puissance is a definite watch along with the Shetland Grand National! But its always a great show! Have fun :)

Me and my sister go every year :) the dressage to music is fantastic to watch. We've been to the Puissance the last 2 years but this year we're going to the FEI show jumping on Saturday afternoon (mainly because I'm short on annual leave days from work :( )

It's a great show, the atmosphere's amazing.

I love Olympia and we used to combine it with a trip to Christmassy London for a weekend. Its the only show jumping show that I don't get bored of as there is so much other stuff going on and its so festive.
