Olympia Quadrille

So I hear (3rd hand)... Congratulations go to the New Forest Pony Enthusiasts Club Quadrille Team, The New Forest Flappers!!!

The team is: Sally-Anne Pierson on Wraggletaggle Carmina, Caroline Saker on Dibden April's Dawn, Elaine Morgan on Farriers Finger Print & Helen Campbell on Farriers Foxglove.

I've seen them in action and they are just fab! Well done to all the ponies, riders, helpers & supporters!! :D

I'm pretty sure it is, as one of the rider's had been in touch with a friend, and at lunch today I asked if anyone had heard, she said she's won!! But tbh I can't remember if she's qualified for something else too? I was refering to the Quadrille, but i'd be embrassed if it was someone else, hence my 3rd hand get out clause!

I do know they have all put lots of hours into practice so it'll be well deserved! Plus the costumes are great fun and the ponies move beautifully!!

Wishing them all a safe trip home now x

Oh great news! Only just seen your second post Teapot!

Fantastic news, especially after Farriers Fingerprints previous successes at Olympia. See, these fat show ponies, can't do anything can they?!!

Oh that's brilliant, especially after their disapointment at the qualifier last year (2009) I'm thrilled.
Anyone have a video or you tube link?
Congratulations to them and to all who took part.

Aww that's great - I saw them at the selection at Aintree and think I commented at the time that they had the best routine in terms of technical difficulty. As a Newfie owner myself i am MADE UP for them all!

Yes the new forests won, congratulations.

The new forest ponies have done fantastically well in riding club championships, excellent performance ponies and often undervalued as a breed (unless you have one!)

seen the videos on youtube - interesting results(looked a close thing) and comments from judges on olympia site- anyone know who 3rd judge was - i know two were clare balding and richard waygood? also anyone know scores?

huge congrats to NFPE - esp after disappointment last time. well done to all - hope to see you @Aintree 2011
