olympia shopping was pants... where do i get a nice grackle?

i was hoping to get a nice grackle bridle from olympia saw TWO!! i couldt believe it the year i actully wanted something there wasnt any,shes not the type of horse i can trust tied up in a lorry with a posh expenive bridle on ... so aka i need a posh looking bridle that cheap but will last, its for shows, also a really fluffy one would be lovely, jw are lovely but not the cheapest
was ment to be for xmas hence getting it at olympia not online but cant really find anything really fluffy.... if its fuffy the leathers pants if the leathers fab its not at all fluffy the shires on didt look so bad?

Shires are crap leather IMO.
If you get a GFS they last well, or Mark Todd cheaper range the leather is nice. The JW European range is lovely and discounted on Horse Heaven Website

If you want fluff you can buy extra sheepskin discs from Mattes website.

If you want to spend money then Equiport, CWD, Dyon, Prestige or Equipe.

i just sold a shires one, the leather is ok, but the buckles ect were like plastic.

wouldnt reccomend.

id go a bit more expensive but not leave on in the lorry.

Whats you budget? Your cheap and my cheap could be way different!
Sabre do nice bridles that arnt the most expensive in the world and the leather is lovely.
Ditto about MK and GFS bridles

how about contacting saddlers in walsall where the best saddles and tack are made? maybe cheaper and exact to your requirements without paying for a name?

try Evision Equine - i picked up a lovely grackle bridle from them at YHL - nice leather and well made - they are like the IR/KB bridles with a curved back headpiece.

its a shame you havent posted this earlier! in beginning of dec there was an ebayer selling jaguar grackles for 35 quid! (they retail 120) I've got one for xmas but wont see it til then but my mum assures me its gorgeous!

if not, the evision ones are always gorgeous!

ps search the mark todd or caldene ones on ebay. Not bought them personally but have seen them in the flesh and they are lovely and within your budget if you do a bit of shopping around!

I have the Evison Grackle, there is plenty of sheepskin on the noseband, and it is proper sheepskin not just fluff. Ive had it for 18 months now and the sheepskin in wearing well as is the leather, lovely and soft. Email them, they have sent me additional pics, when i have asked questions before - Im so fussy!
