Olympia tonight?

I was glad he won. I'm sure they all think a lot of their horses but he seems to genuinely love his. Plus I love the way he doesn't conform and just does it his own way.

What I love is that the commentators are praising him for his choices, for not using gadgets, for having a bond some riders fail to try to achieve, for being singular and going against the grain.

I agree, i felt odd rooting for the only non british person out of the final four but there is so much to root for, he allows his horses freedom, he trusts them in their job and doesn't try to control them, he beams with enjoyment, I adore how he took his mare to the wall and he was grinning and patting her, and how he was cautious about going into the final round because of her age and experience...

Never heard of him before but won't forget him now!

Think I'd have been bounced off Johns horse!

Really pleased Luca won, he looked like he has a really good bond with his horse and like how he was smiling and laughing with the crowd before and after plus minimal tack. Nice to see him make such a fuss of her and didnt he give her a treat as well?

Lovely little mare as well
