Good lord - that site is rubbish!

Got this from the "Eventing" page, it's the last sentence: The rider has to ride the same horse for three days, participating at the following three events.

Talk about Major Bumsaw! Not to say anything of the "following three events" - of which nothing further is mentioned.

And from the "Dressage" page: Rider and horse are considered a team. Years of systematic efforts are required for the team to be able to perform adequately various exercises of skill, speed, endurance, and jumping of obstacles.

when you regester a horse with you for eventing im positive you regester the horse as your nationality anyway? by the rules :S

The horse doesn't have a nationality asigned. Otherwise owners would have to switch the nationality of the horse if they wanted a different rider. That is crazy!!!

oh wait, that is on a passport right?

umm, horses do have a nationality assigned... the nationality of the owner. so any prospective team horses had to be registered (and their passports changed) by Jan 1, for any country...
