Looking forward to the first of the German horses Bonaparte - he is out of a Consul (Trakehner) mare, and I have a lot of Consul blood in my breeding program so looking forward to seeing him

I suspect the juidges felt it was not quite forward enough and a bit safe. I don't agree, to me it looked beautiful and far better than the Danish one before, but I suspect that is why the lower mark. The joys of Dressage!

Yup, agree, first one with no tension. Same in the pirrouettes. Not sure if enough lift though?

I agree kanter - still not perfect, but the only one to bend its joints and show a little sit behind (of the ones I;'ve seen)

Well deserved. Good to see relaxed ,correct way of going being rewarded. Maybe the same, with more cadence, will get better marks still.

All I know is that in Piaffe she seems to be moving more then the horse!!

Sounds it too! I bet these big horses struggle with the heat.

sorry was replying to the quote - I meant dressage is worse (than showing!) But only sometimes.

Bonaparte was who I meant when I said much more to my taste.

I'm not making sense. It'll be trying to use the computer to watch and type!
