Was just reminiscing about horse and rider combinations past and present and wondering who would be in my dream team. I have the following for my main:

Mary King (ofcourse!) & King William
Pippa Funnel & Primmores Pride
WFP & Tamarillo
Lucinda Fredericks (if we could have her back) and Hedley Brittania or....
Zara Phillips and Toytown


Who would you have in your team?

If they won't give us back Lucinda Fredericks can I have Lucinda Green (on .. well .. pretty much anything) instead?

Edit: actually it would be pretty cool to have Mark Philips, Princess Anne and Zara on the same team.

Yes, I was very much toying with the idea of LG and Be Fair or George, but I had to put down LF as I just love that little tot Hedley Britannia.

Nick Skelton and Apollo
William Funnell & Cortaflex Mondriaan

My god but we have a lot of talent out there, its difficult to pick i could go on and on

and could we persuade Mark Todd to change is passport and we could have Charisma as well.

But who would be the reserve/individual out of those?

nicola and buzz lucinda green on anything ian and murphy daisy and spring and then probably sarah cutteridge with lettie as she popped burghley like a pony club track or as someone said priceless
 
I know I started this thread but am really enjoying reading it, reminding myself of all the great combinations past and present

oooh yes, wonder if we could push it a GB 1 and 2 team... :)

Look at us, already made the olympic selection, soon we will be sorting out the government, world poverty and famine, all over a glass of wine ;)
