Olympic horse for sale for £1750 wierd !!!!

if i had a free stable he would have a home without me even looking at him! wouldnt care if it could only hack!
no horse, let alone a horse that good, deserves to be passed around to dealers!
 
I was at the mens pentathlon, that wouldn't be the horse that flipped over on a rider and injured the other rider so badly that they could not compete would it? It was a lovely looking chestnut I remember! Possibly not but could explain the cheap price and being passed from dealer to dealer.
 
I wondered that snowysadude, I remember it being a chestnut that reared dramatically, but I don't think the rider helped the situation, so it could just be a horse that gets excited and needs someone prepared to deal with it! Maybe the fact he's been seen to do that on tv isn't helping him sell, poor chap :-(
 
So sad. These dealers are disgusting. Or actually is it the people who passed him from pillar post after he'd be a talented pony that are disgusting??

Different horse - the one who flipped over had a star and a snip, and this guy just has a star. Thought I'd check it out in case this thread popped up on a search and put off a nice genuine person who might give this poor lad a chance
 
I tried to contact the original ad in Horse and Hound, and the phone number didn't work, I then tried via the ad link on here and it only had an email address (or at least I didn't see a phone number!).

Will look at the new link.

ETA: I can't seem to find the new ad - anyone care to help?

Well if it was at the Olympics and the age was 18, and it is for sale at 13 - what happened to the passport? I know! It has been lost, will have to get a replacement.

I thought all the horses used had been well inspected and well schooled as suitable, so must have been OK to be included.

What a shame the poor thing, Its been past from dealer to dearler sadly... Seen it for sale at 950 it had to be gone by the weekend.. poor soul :mad: Dearler p*** me off sometimes heartless
