Olympic Horse found!

Annie inceman has him - up for just under 2k. I'm in Kent and would have him if he was cheap, but by cheap I mean a few hundred as if he is with her there is bound to be something very wrong with him
 
It's such a shame, he seems to have had lots of owners in a very short amount of time. Even more of a shame that each owner he has seems to add a couple of hundred pounds to his price tag and hope for the best!

If he's still sound and up to working, he'd make a lovely schoolmaster for someone wanting to learn.

We established in the previous post where he currently resides, I hope a good home is found.
 
Sorry but I've seen a few of these threads about this horse, I know nothing about him but surely there must be a big problem for him to have been passed around like it sounds as if he has. In my exp people hang on to good horses and even good older schoolmasters will sell for a decent amount if they are genuine. Not by any means saying he deserves it and I hope he does find a forever retirement home, just sounds very suspicious to me.
 
The horse can't be too bad, managed to come in 8th and 13th in the pentathlon. It was just very unluck to be sold once and it is now in the unfortunate dealers circle. Sure it will get a home soon. It can sure jump, from pics I have seen.
 
Whilst he can't be "too bad" I imagine it's partly the fact he's being passed around and something else (bad temperament on the ground? now unsound?) that is stopping him from finding his forever home.

Such a shame and agree with D wouldn't now touch him with a barge pole after being with a certain dealer, wouldn't surprise me if he ended up in tic tocks situation !
 
Well I have a spare box, just couldn't justify spending that much on him. They wont drop to less as there will be a riding school who would love to get their hands on him and use him to death as a mascot, or someone hoping he will get them to Olympia I am sure... ye of such faith I am in the Equine World.

Tempted to rescue him though. Anyone fancy digging in?! :p
 
Gatwick would be the best. I am going to get him vetted next week if he is still there. Glad others are hoping to rescue him too x

I would google details of the dealer before possibly wasting your time and money !! Regardless of what he has done, i would be concearned what has since happened to him Buyer beware !!
