We still have three very capable riders in the time, all is not lost. This is the time to prove that GB can do the Olmpics without a Whitaker.

Lets get behind the rest of team then dooming them to fail!

Well Portofino wasn't showing much form, then went lame in Bejing. Maybe it would have been better to swap her for Peter Charles' horse before they flew out...then Nick would now be replacing John?

I wouldn't have thought they'd have been able to replace a horse that jumped the initial rounds so if Peppermill had been ok then we would still be down to three

Yeh thats true, you had to jump on friday if you wanted to jump in the team comp. And only 4 riders from each nation could jump on friday

but it gonna be tough having to have all scores count...it gonna put major pressure on all the riders.

Interesting - but yes, you never have to jump your 4th rider if you don't want/have to. Still, another 0 faults on the board would have helped us tremendously, we would have been tying for 1st!

Canada 12 - 30 (depends on the last rider)
