Just for all the naysayers who complained that there were no equestrian tickets in the early rounds and they couldn't come... pretty much every session is back for sale.
I have just bought 4 tickets in the lowest price band for the dressage individual finals! I'm giddy as a kipper but my husband is going to kill me, we're checking out that day and should be heading back across the channel. Looks like we'll be on a late crossing now 😂

Literally did the same with my husband!!!! Although by the time he replied we had missed the Freestyle tickets but have got them for the Grand Prix finals instead!!

Now trying to find somewhere to stay!
In that case I'm glad i didn't wait for his reply!! My whole family are complaining that I've bought tickets for day 2 of dressage - watching "the same test over and over again" but now they can see it as the warm up to the main event!
I booked my accomodation the day I had tickets from the first sale, think i've got a bargain but it's a little way out of the city.

They were in my basket and lost them in the time it took to ring him and check 🙄 happy with the grand prix finals though!

I think we'll go to eurodisney with our daughter so stay there...doesn't look too far away and can hopefully get a good deal x

I am going to be there to watch volleyball and hockey as could not get equestrian but now hoping if there is another release tomorrow we might get something.
We're also going to hockey and volleyball! And gymnastics, rugby 7s and canoe slalom. Just hoping I can get my GB flag out some of the sessions!

We didn't get equestrian but bought more tickets and got athletics for the Friday morning. I think the SJ finals are popular so they had a hefty price. I wonder if there will be big screens outdoors to watch things as well..

I gave it up as a bad job months ago, and I think I'll probably see more on the telly anyway, but it's a shame as a couple of lads I coached when they started out will (barring something going wrong) be competing in Paris and it would have been good to be there 🇮🇪 🇮🇪

Anyone that wants to go to the GP Dressage finals we will be selling 3 tickets as we unfortunately can't go now. 3 tickets for 3/8/24, at Versailles. Gutted!

Will be putting them on the resale platform when it opens but happy to arrange something privately with anyone who'd like to go x

Just bumping this to say the resell started today. It’s done via an app, register (if you don’t already have a Paris 2024 account, otherwise just log in), then you can just search for tickets and purchase.

I put my rowing ones on there to sell about 9.50am and they’ve already sold.

The app is called Paris 2024 tickets, purple logo.

Yep resale went on today, we were going to sell our dressage tickets but we’ve decided we will go after all (frantic search for an apartment today!) literally just going to watch that unless we can find something else Saturday evening 😂

I've got football, athletics and hockey to sell, thanks for the nudge need to get the app sorted.
Decided I really can't face dealing with accommodation and what will likely be French transport fiasco.

I'm contemplating a day trip for the final day of the eventing, simply because I'm not sure I can face being in Paris the entire weekend. Chaos abounds I feel.

We are literally driving to Versailles Friday, have booked an apartment within walking distance and will drive back on the Sunday 😂 I figure central Paris will be chaos x

The host of the air bnb I'm staying at very helpfully has sent me a link to the travel card that you need to purchase if travelling around on public transport for the Olympics. All other fares/travel cards are suspended during the Olympics (so this can be increased in price 🤣) they post it out to you and can take 30 days to arrive.
