Olympic Tickets for those who didn't get any...

My one shows good availability of team dressage, days one and two....no other equestrian left....
 
I am not putting myself through all that again :(

I have spent some of the ticket/flights/car hire/incidentals money on a handmade show bridle, and the rest is going on training and a few family treats for the summer holidays.

And I shall watch the bits I fancy on the telly in the comfort of my own home :D
 
It shows there are two price categories of ticket available for dressage, but on the opening page of "no availability", "low availability" or "high...", dressage is under 'low'. Wonder how many people will be able to get through on the site at 6am!!!

Bet the site crashes anyway at 6am - bound to. Means lots of sports fans are going to have to get up early - at least horse people are used to it!
 
Have you noticed how many football tickets are left - just goes to show that so called fans of football are only interested when it is their own particular overpaid team that is playing.....

Of the 2.3 million tickets left, 1.7million of them are for the football !

How about they scrap the football and put the showjumping and dressage elements of equestrianism on at Wembley? Complete joke the whole thing and if Mr Coe thinks I'm going to waste my money watching something I've no interest in at all 'just for the sake of being able to say I went to the Olympics he can think again.

One of the few sports that can genuinely turn a profit at the games and about the only one that will have no lasting legacy afterwards. I hope West Ham enjoy their massively subsidised stadium.....in the Championship:-O

I think those Brits abroad who applied for tickets got them in preference to U.K. based applicants. I know 6 people who applied for tickets ant the only person who got any lives in France.
 
Can't believe that about how many football tickets are left!

My brother who lives abroad didn't get any tickets but I managed to get 2 tickets for the showjumping of the eventing, so excited! Didn't get cross-country but I think that is the same for the majority of us!!

Good luck for everyone trying in the second round but I bet too that the website will crash!
 
It's first come first served in the next round so you will know straight away if you have been successful.

Interesting how the BBC will quote the lack of interest in equestrian sports for their lack of coverage.....
 
No eventing tickets:(
I only applied for 1 in the first place, I'll save my money and go to Burghley instead:D
