Olympic XC tickets

They haven't made it easy have they?!

I wanted to apply for some other tickets for OH but apparently because I got first round football tickets for the Millennium Stadium I can't until they go on general sale (oh whoopee, we only bought them as it was a cheap day out and it's just down the road - if I'd have known this would happen I wouldn't have bothered! :( :().

At least my sister has saved the day for me and we get to go to the XC - fingers crossed for all of you trying to get tickets.
 
I just got two tickets for the eventing showjumping! Nearly had a heart attack sat in the queue!

Now just need to find someone to come with me haha!
 
I'm so thrilled, just got a xc ticket, i'll be going on my own but I don't care :D

I was sat in the queue for 15 mins at work and I couldn't get on with any other work as I couldn't concentrate!

Not working for me, I don't think it can have registered my attempts to get tickets previously.... :(

It lets me select tickets but then they vanish when I add them to my shopping list :(
 
Wewillshowthem - did you apply for tickets last year and not get any, if not you won't be able to buy tickets today. If you did you need to log into your account on the olympic ticket website and then click on request tickets, you can then choose the event you want and then you have to wait ages whilst it checks for available tickets (took me about 15mins), only then do you put in you payment details.

Thank you, but i didnt apply for any last year, does that mean i can't get any?! Awww no :(
 
I'm afraid the ones for sale at the moment are only for those people who applied for tickets last year and didn't get anything - sorry. The remaining tickets go on general release on 23rd May.
 
Got 2 tickets to Grand Prix Freestyle my original choice! I'm so excited....just been dancing around the room to teh Pointer Sisters!! :D
 
I would love any XC tickets that people would like to sell on?!! Even single ticket, Just really really want to go! Sat on the PC for ages, website would not let me buy any, very frustrating.

It has been the worst experience ever. We had such problems getting the tickets in the first place because OH was sent a new card during the ticket allocation process so we were ringing the bank and olympic ticketing people to sort that out and no one seemed to be any help. We really wanted XC tickets, we didn't really consider the whole process when registering our interest for tickets so request all 3 day events but only ended up with most expensive dressage days. Our fault but to be fair if they'd sold them over the phone we would prob only have bought dressage if we'd had the chance of buying xc as well. Now getting shot of them is proving useless and not sure people will want £95 dressage tickets even if we can sell at face value to friends. Oh well...just sent them another message so shall see what advice they have if any.
