Can't help it - I wasn't going to post, but I'm stupidly excited! We're off tomorrow to Beijing and going to be in China for a 2 week tour doing all the main things like the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors. Then we arrive in Hong Kong just in time for the 3DE. What luck.........

We've only got tickets for the SJ phase, but hope to pick up tickets for the other phases while we're there.......apparently shouldn't be too difficult according to our contact in the NZ team.

Last time I was at an Olympics was LA in 1984 - that was just WOW!

I just LOVE the Olympics.

Still extraordinarily excited about the whole thing.................LOVE THE OLYMPICS!

glad to hear a fellow HHOer will be there, I have tickets for all three phases, followed by 2 weeks in Thailand! Have a fab time in China, see you in Hong Kong!
 
How did you get tickets for all 3 phases?!!

I applied ages ago for mine and only got the SJ. But as I say I'm reliably informed that I'll get some for the other phases once I'm there.

By the way - my daughter and I will be one of the few wearing the 'Support Wins Medals' hats and polo shirts on the SJ day, I'm sure we'll be the only ones so will be instantly recognisable.....!!

you are soooo lucky, would love to have gone. i have only ever been to one olympic games (sydney in 2000) although i unfortunately did not get to see any of the equestrian events
