Omega micronised linseed meal - Amount?

Hi All,
My bag of omega micronised linseed meal has arrived but has no feeding instructions?

He’s a 10 yr old tb on the slightly skinny side, most people seem to feed 150g a day, is that about right?

Do I need to start off feeding smaller amounts?

Can’t seem to find any instructions from the supplier!

I think I would ignore the above response (WJ) if I were you...
I believe micronised linseed can have a 'loosening' effect, (I can confirm it has a dramatic effect on a greedy dog ) so start slowly and build up. Some people are able to feed a couple of mugs a day or even more, but I've never managed to get more than about 150g a day into my mare, spread over 2 feeds.
Even in small (tablespoon) quantities you can see an effect on coat and general health. It's calorie dense, so you don't need to feed it in the amounts you would a commercial bagged feed, you feed according to what you are trying to achieve and the horse's taste-buds!

Yes start slowly as said and go to 1 to 2 cups ?
