Just musing really....At two yards I work at we have 3 horses being treated for ulcers.
Ive been led to believe that its best given on an empty stomach which one is but then its fed straight after- Is this ok?
Two get paste one gets granules- Which is best?
Only one gets ad-lib hay and tbh he never touches it much, will he eat it if needed? I mke certain he never runs out but I mostly chuck it away.
The other has haylage (again I think this is not good?) and constant access to a molassed lick block- I commented I don't think this is a good idea but then I see advice on here to mix omeprazole in with molasses and syringe it in so they cant be that bad?
Ive don't lots of researching off my own back as I have concerns about my own horse who windsucks and especially since caring for these horses but with owners having different ways of dealing with it Im getting slightly confused as to whats actually best.
