JEEZ!!! imagine that!!! I know the mentality of normal donkeys, putting that into a 16hh version surely isn't wise!!!!!!!???!!!! and they can reach upto 17hh!!!!

That donkey is Judy, and she is fantastic. I have one of these donkeys, but she is, as yet, only 9 months and 12hh. They really are amazing, gentle, easy to handle animals.

We had a couple of these, except they were a French breed, on a yard I was on.
She paid £7.5K for them .

I work with 3 donklets so went on a donkey sanctuary course and they had 2 of these there. Think they are called Poitier donkeys or something similar, but could be completely making it up. They are more common in the continent, particually France and Spain in particular. It was amazing, they were both amazingly beautiful, and I would love to have one, or two, or six...

Just to let you see, this was my filly at 4 months!

This is a Pure Bred Poitou stallion. Not easy to tell without someone in the photo, but very much shorter than an MJ.

This is my Poitou x, Pluto. Just a yearling. With 2yo ID x filly, Toyah.

And this is him with my 20yo daughter.

I don't know what his height will eventuully be but not as big as the mammoths!

You can see that he has very hairy legs, his body had been trimmed a little as he was very matted when I got him and it took 3 weeks to remove all the dead hair.
