OMG 16hh Donkey!!!!

That donkey is Judy, and she is fantastic. I have one of these donkeys, but she is, as yet, only 9 months and 12hh. They really are amazing, gentle, easy to handle animals.

I work with 3 donklets so went on a donkey sanctuary course and they had 2 of these there. Think they are called Poitier donkeys or something similar, but could be completely making it up. They are more common in the continent, particually France and Spain in particular. It was amazing, they were both amazingly beautiful, and I would love to have one, or two, or six...

No, these are AMERICAN MAMMOTH JACKSTOCK. They are completely different to the French Poitou

I don't know what his height will eventuully be but not as big as the mammoths!

You can see that he has very hairy legs, his body had been trimmed a little as he was very matted when I got him and it took 3 weeks to remove all the dead hair.

jinglejoys.... that was a impressive jumping round, looked safe as houses jumping, I soooooooooooo want one of the spotty ones, that is now on my lottery winnings list!!!
