Both accidental I must add, in stable she turns round and squashes me against the wall, totally oblivious the sharp exhale of breath from my squashed body. Then I lead her out and she kicks me with her giant front clydesdale hoof in the back of my heel. Pain, swearing, i stop, oh a carrot, Nancy enquires whilst I try to imagine that it didnt just happen, again totally oblivious! As things happen in threes I made a sharp exit and dashed back home! Nice bruide coming and foot getting very stiff!!

Ouchies.

They seem to pick the bit of your foot to stand on that doesn't have steel protecting it.

Sounds like a good excuse to put your foot up and get OH to cook dinner.

Ouch.....hope your foot gets better soon :-(

As DWI says...put your feet up and get the OH to pamper you!

Good plan running.....i totally believe that things happen in threes.....!!

Take care and dont over do it on your poorly foot.

I don't think being oblivious to you being in the stable is an excuse for squishing! I would not be impressed if my mare done that no matter what size or breed. As for the walking up your heels, maybe don't let her walk behind you if she isn't able to keep a safe distance :s

Just to say ouch and im glad im not the only one. I think my horse-ship skills our famous near were i live being dumped in the middle of the road in front of a lot of people was just the icing on the cake. But i keep going back for more.
Use it as an excuse so the other half feels sorry for you and does all the house work and cooks the tea.
