grrrrr was so hoping not to have to use a rug on her this year.

however she gets so filthy in the field...... like bad enough to have to cancel riding cause i can't get the dirt off to put her saddle on :O soooooo i might have to just give in and get a super lightweight rug to keep her clean enough to ride lol!!!!

awwww, i had to put light/med on my highland x cob! he was shivering! stupid light weight that leaks! yesterdays weather was terrible!
Its def a highland thing mine has nice clean tummy and back but his legs, neck and face are covered in mud! mind you keeps him looking youthful - maybe something in that!

Same here, Farra is looking like a yak rather than a clydesdale and she too had a no fill t/o yesterday for the first time. The rain and wind were horrible and there is little shelter in the field.

Dizz is a hot hoss and she will have a lightweight full neck on to keep her dry enough to work

.

Little Lad has to have a lightweight full neck on. He's an absolute wimp when it comes to getting wet - stands and shivers and mugs passersby for their coats lol.

I feel mean now

My Yearling is still out naked and I wasn't planning to rug her until after XMAS

I'm trying to delay buying her a rug that fits for as long as possible, she out grows them so quickly

lol i'm only resorting to the rug now cause her hair is sooooo thick if she gets sheep poo on her, she has to be bathed take like a million years to dry out lol!!!

easy option get rug to keep her clean lol!!!
