OMG - I have just seen those horrific pictures...

I have just read through this properly and the article - it all sounds a bit dodgy to me - not quite enough about the owners being devasted as I imagine most of us would be. They seem very matter of fact about it and why ring a website before the poilice? bizzare

I am pretty sure it was the landowner who called the programme, not the owners, that is how I read it. How could you not be devastated, but I suspect the website was more interested in the mutilation that the how the owners were feeling! I also think they would be well within their rights to demand the photos are removed, it is a dangerous thing to publish, I just hope it doesn't lead to copycat nutters with all those details. The police don't give out those sort of details for a reason!! It could be that the owners didn't even know the fate of the horse before the press had photos of it as it sounds like they got the call well before the police!
 
It really is horrific that anyone can do this, but I can't help but think it all sounds dodgy in some way. And as for having a TV programme to publicise it.......well that's an intelligent thing to do isn't it?!?!?!
 
I too found it very very suspicious, however, I don't actually care what happened I just care for that poor baby boy with his fluffy tummy. xxxxx
