I was buying a horse and received a call to say it had been involved in a road accident and was horribly injured. Saw it out hunting a few weeks later with it's new owner who had doubled my price.

Oh blimey I never knew that sort of thing went on, though in this day and age I tend to believe anything.

Very sorry to all those concerned should it be true...how sad!!

Must confess I thought exactly the same, but didn't have the guts to post it! Freak accidents do happen we all know that, but the timing is incredible to the point of unbelievable in this case. For the horses sake lets hope it isn't true and he'll go on to lead a happy full life somewhere.
