OMG I think I've found my dream!

I looked at a horse on weds (about the 9th I've tried) and really really liked him (in fact I was smitten) but it looked like I was going to be beaten to it by someone else but it seems that they now can't make up their mind and are going to leave it for a while (quiet cheer!). So I went to see the horse for the 2nd time today, he is a 3/4 thoroughbred 1/4 shire 8yrs old who has done a bit of everything at a novice level. I just want him to have fun on and be friends with! Today I got to brush him, tack him up, ride in the school and go on a hack including roads and I loved him - he wasn't perfect but neither was I and I felt a bond

I am going back to see him again on Weds with my instructor and will make my decision then, I will obviously be having a full vetting done as well.

Anyway here are some pics of him (the dodgy rider is me by the way!), please some honest opinions, but remember he is going to be a fun horse!

I had a horse with 'saucepan feet' same breed, with an excellent farrier she now has better feet but with such a big body, she needs somethingto hold her up. shes the best thing i ever did xx

He is just my sort to be honest as I prefer chunky types.
Don't worry about the feet either as here are a few pics of my lads after the farrier came ( about 2 weeks ago now). These were taken on the day they were done and it was the first time he has been shod since last year as we went bare all winter and his feet look so much better.
When I had him he had the opposite of saucepan feet as they were boxy as a farrier not mine and nor the one he had before but someone who I have never heard of basically had crippled him making him lame on all 4 feet so I was told.
Anyway here they are after sorting out and he is a big lad too so please don't be put off by the horse's feet as a farrier can soon sort them out

From my experiences the personality wins every time and makes any problems you may have in the future much more bearable if you actually like and enjoy them!
