As you know I've been looking for a lorry for months. I've travelled many miles & been lied to, seen several skips on wheels & generally lost the will to live.

Well...... today I drove to Wales, a round trip of 350 miles to see a lorry. I'd asked ll the usual questions & seen some photos......... mind you I've seen photos before & then seen several lorrys first hand & they've been a joke.

Anyway I arrived at the farm & was greeted by the lorry I'd been looking for in their driveway. It's a Tristar, stick sided box, beautiful condition, drives lovely with nice comfortable, not over the top living & it has enough payload to carry 3 horses comfortably. The deal was done over a cup of tea & home made cake & I'll pick it up after it's been plated in just over a week.

I can't stop smiling at the moment. I have been really down over the junk I've been coned into travelling to see but this one is so nice. All of you out there looking for a lorry, keep looking they are out there, just persevere!!

Thats great news... Ive seen your previous posts. I looked at the tristar web site they look great and it seems they have put some engineering into there lorrys like using the correct materials,
unlike alot of the other builders who think anything is ok and dont give a monkeys about weight or whether even simple maintanance will be able to be carryed out because of the cab no longer tilts..... .. think more people will be going to wales for lorrys, good luck and let us know how it goes...
