Hey all,
Have you ever had a few days away from your horse and come back and looked at them and said something along the lines of "omg you have put on a huge amount of weight"?
Well I hadn't seen Ollie properly for 4 days after having nerve blocks and an epidural on my back. I spent a couple of hours with him last night and tonight and all I have to say is "omg your going to be huge!!"
Ollie came to me nearly 2 months ago, looking abit like a hat rack
I have worked hard on getting his feed and haylage right, to 1- put on weight and 2- not blow his brains out of his skull.
He is now 10 mths out of Point 2 Point and 14mths off the track but has been in a restricted field with welshy all summer, so came out of summer not looking as good as I liked.
With in 2 weeks we got this
Within 6 weeks we got this
(sorry it's in the shade)
And today I got the reaction of Omg your neck is huge... may have to watch this boy in the summer! Sorry no pics from today as it was too dark.

Sorry a bit of a random post but as my YO has said "I've never seen a TB neck grow so much without a lot of a work".
Has anyone else had this happen? I do think he looks healthier and happier now, or am I mistaken?
Rosé and ice cream for whoever gets this far
