I'm in shock - my OH rang to tell me he has just bought the horse we looked at last weekend!

It passed a vetting yesterday but vet found some tiny warts we hadn't noticed - I am very very cautious about warts / lumps etc so wanted to walk away & I thought we had agreed to give it a couple of weeks to see whether they improved or got worse .... however OH is clearly in love and couldn't wait, he went to see her again this afternoon and that was it!

This is her (16.2/16.3hh 5yo ISH) - no good pictures yet but I think we are collecting her at the weekend, so more photos will be on the way:

Thank you Jesss, she is hopefully going to be an allrounder and do a bit of low level eventing. She does have nice paces and a great temperament but hasn't done much of anything yet.

He has just come home and is buzzing with excitement.

His other horse has been lame for the past 9 months & has been retired (aged 10) so having something to ride and bring on will be great for him.

She looks lovely! You are lucky...on two counts, new horsey and an OH who's into riding!
Never been able to get my OH interested despite 10 yrs of trying!lol

Good luck with her!

The difficult thing is trying to get OH away from the horses

You lucky things. Hope all goes well. Look forward to more pics. (Bye the way it took 21 years and a house move to keep horse at home to get my OH into riding and he ended up doing more comps and stuff than I'd ever done. lol
