My auntie has just informed me that a yard in Stevington BEDFORDSHIRE has been broken into and the lot was taken. Tack, rugs, head collars everything! They cut the tails off of a bay and a chestnut.

Why on earth would they cut the tails off those two horses??? I can understand the incentive to steal but what does cutting the tails off acheive? So horrible when your yard gets broken into, I had it happen a couple of years ago - fortunately there wasn't anything for them to take (it was all in my garage at home!) but so upsetting to think of people riffling through your things and going near your horses.

That's TEN horses.... thank goodness they didn't hurt them. It doesn't say they took all the tack. It also says they don't want chestnuttails,

You know they also make jewelry out of this hair. And people are selling forelock and tail pieces too.

Is this Comanche Equestrian? This is where my son's old pony is on loan. They haven't said a word to me about it and she is grey. There are a couple of yards on silver street, but that is the only riding school I think.
