Unfortunately, she chose to demonstrate this at Grassy corner (a blind corner on the Cam), during evening traffic, and then attempting to chase my uni development squad boat,

then getting pulled under by the weeds

& needing rescuing in a canoe by the boatclub president

(huge thank you, to him)

Hmmm, no more outings on the bank for Popple when I'm on the river then...!!

Oh dear... wonder if she will be smart enough to be put off by that little experience?

LOL! A couple of months ago, you may remember, I rushed Popple to the vet, after she was stung in the eye by a wasp
crazy.gif
The vet in his thick german accent said "the little dog, she will learn, she won't do that again...". I was skeptical

Last friday, had to rush her back to the vet (head & face like a rottie) with another sting.

The vet looked at her as I walked in and said "This little dog, she does not learn...!"

I was not surprised... Nor was I yesterday, when I saw her once again, trying to chase a bee.

It seems Pops is more of the "if at first you don't succeed...." mentality.

They do pick their moments don't they?

I don't think the former GB rower who was coaching us was very impressed....
