Omg Read this.

It was a fault in the initial WNV vaccination which had been given to pregnant mares. The vaccine was originally developed for cattle and I don't think they anticipated any problems with using it on horses......however they were wrong.

I think you will find that most of these cases are very old though. The vaccine which is used today is a different one and is apparently safe....however I still will not use it on my horses.

I was just browsing the internet and I couldnt believe it. As you say it is old but that is bad though isnt it all the chaos it caused. In some it affected the stallions, not sure in any way how.

Well I am glad that they have sorted it out but I would be too wary to use it on my horse after all what happened.
