She's in 10 acres of summer fields with her dam and other mares. So was over feeding meal to her dam called all horses. They all come as usual but her dam stays at bottom field then comes up. WITHOUT RUBY!

I thought she was dead drop meal I go running like mad down fields and all horses come back down with me to find ruby snoring her head off flat out. I was never as happy to see her alive, dam ran to her and nudged her up and brought her up field. Never seen that before mare leaving j know she waited at start but she must have felt comfortable with foal as usually over protective and was when she got her again.

From a scary start to a funny ending, I nearly died when I seen mare without her. All mares are protective of her and watch her. But jes worst few mins ever while running down thinking she was dead. Guess shes a deep sleeper as her hearings fine when awake.

So thats my eventful day.

Hope your over your shock, silly horse!
Hubbys pony did that to the none horsey owners of the field we rent, they climbed the fence and walked right up to her but she diddnt move. She was ok, just sunning herself, they didnt know that though.
