OMG the closing ceremony........

Agree its odd, like the atmosphere created by the music though.

Like the mechanical horse thing they were riding.

Shame the atheletes couldn't come in during it so they could get cheered like they did for the Olympics but guess it would have been quite hard to organize.

The constant adverts are going to get on my nerves :angry:
 
well the director says don't read anything into it. Everyone trying to look scary and stand on piles of junk....... dear God. It's like a really bad amatuer dramatics rehearsal.
 
I like it, I like that they've made something out of bits and pieces and given it a new function. But I am slightly obsessed with scrapheap challenge, I alway wanted to go on the show :) for some reason it makes me think of Fred who was a childhood hero of mine, I loved his programmes on blowing stuff up and mechanics stuff.

I wanted to be a demolition person and ended up being a librarian...
 
OMG - F A N T A S T I C !! Always thought Chris Martin was a Geek turned God - give the man an honour !!!!

And the Para orchestra - I bloody CRIED !
