Well I have organised baby sitters for the boys tonight, had a trial run of my ball dress earlier, even had my hair done! organised OH to leave work early tonight, put my horse in for the night very early and also cancelled dressage lesson for this evening.

Why - because I'm off to the hunt ball tonight- Err no looked at my ticket , date SATURDAY 29th , what a numpty, so had to canel everything and fingers crossed I can get a babysitter for tomorrow.

Is it just me , or does anyone else get things wrong.

I would have staked my life on it being tonight, even told another livery that she had got it wrong as she said it was Saturday, No you wally I said, its tonight!.

I will never live this one down.
 
NeilM- yep your right that could have been worse

happyhack- you have made me feel so much better.

This is typical me, another scenario, In the barn where the stables are, each end two big metal sliding doors, closing the top end doors whilst talking to my horse, I did so with my ring finger of left hand in the middle of them, quite badly cut, ran to the tap, cold water nearly pass out.

I've got like this ever since I've had my horse, or is it because I'm now over 40, I could write a book with all the daft things I've done recently- "how to be come a Numpty in 10 easy steps!"
