My daughter has just come home with an absolutely bulging bag and tipped this haul out on the floor!
That is more candy then she gets in months! Generous little soul though, I get all the things with peanuts in, but only because she doesn't like them. I am still not sure I approve of literally begging, but...... 'when in Rome' what can I do? Stop her going out with her friends?

Lots of Reeses peanut butter cups though, quite disgustingly sickly but I do love p/nut butter

Yummy Reeces cups, mind you prefer Peanutbutter M&Ms, good job I can't get them over here though, they are so addictive.

Come on you must know who it is. Not many UK bods up at this time of night!!

Yes, you CAN stop her going out, we never let our children do it, and they have grown up to be perfectly lovely human beings. I know many people who sit in darkened houses, terrified of youngsters knocking on the door, I'm most definately NOT a boring old ''f...t'', but think that celebrating witchcraft and the occult is very dangerous.

Luckyt for her getting all those sweeties -yum!

I must admit though that I dread halloween, we either go out or leave the hall light off and sit in the lounge - it seems pathetic but we were threatened once by some teenagers and another time we got our car scratched and we live in a 'nice' quiet area. No offence to you or your daughter because this is just my opinion but it worries me that children are knocking on the doors of people they don't know???

In our area last night it was like the invasion of the little body snatchers!!
I don't mind because its always the young kids, they're very polite and their parents are always stood at the end of our drive. But I just wish they would understand when you tell them not to touch the dog that that means don't touch the ****** dog!!

We went out for dinner last night so missed the worst of them. The few who did come round were perfectly polite when I told them we had no treats.

I don't mind when its kids who live in the street knocking on doors with their parents close at hand, but it does worry me when even quite young children are knocking on total strangers' doors all on their own. I spent my whole life being told not to take sweets from strangers and on this one night, that rule goes completely out of the window.

This bothers me as well, its scary when you are being threatened by teenagers and its stupid for small children to be knocking on strangers doors. Surely every perverts dream?
