Going to pick up my new pony tomorrow.

Weird, but I'm not as excited as I was when I had bought Taz. I was so excited with Taz and couldn't calm down for days afterwards but this time, I'm feeling pretty chilled.

Is that normal?

Wondering now how I'm going to find the time to see to 2 horses when I'm working full time, between exercising them and poo-picking and don't even want to think about the winter and having 2 stables to muck out.

How do you manage?

Broke it to Taz tonight that he's not going to be the only horse in my life now and that I will have to share my time and feelings. However, my new ponio is a mare so he'll always be my No 1 boy!!!!!!!

Good luck

I found going from one to two was quite easy tho they both get jealous of each other so I have to be sneaky about who I work first etc

Don't think of winter yet, summer hasn't begun

its not too bad actually, you'll go into auto pilot and deal with it. When my baby first met my oldey, the oldey knew he was mine - I swear - he chased him, pushed him away from the others - complete jealousy, more than i've ever seen before. Now i'm on a yard with individual grazing (my boys together) and the oldey can't cope without his mate - funny how the tables turn, the baby couldn't care less
