I am so excited, collecting him on Saturday - I can confirm he has been in a lovely home and obviously was not suitable to what he was sold to do!!

Windsor - this is my promise ( you are going nowhere and I am so sorry ) lots of witnesses on here.

Unfortunatly his new buyers were also conned.......by our favouite dealer!!

Once again thank-you all posters for your support ( yes I was stupid!! ) and some of you should have a career change to be Private Investigators.

For those that have horses missing on loan / companions sold on - keep believing, its emotionally hard but keep strong - remember someone always knows something!!

I don't know your story but glad to hear it's a happy ending!

Feel free to read past posts..............if you have a spare evening!!

May it be a warning to all - I admit for being stupid and certainly do not defend my actions, even if just one persons stops and thinks before moving a companion horse on - that would be great.

I am thinking what I need to do to raise awareness, still thinking on stratagy but it will be done.

Really pleased to hear after your heartache, which I was reminded of when the Woody situation occured, that you have found your boy. Another victim of a certain someone who thankfully didn't end up at Potters.

Please please please post piccies of your reunion!!! :)

So very very happy for you, Just backtracked and read the whole sad saga. Wow, what a VILE piece of work that Ted's Mum (or whatever it's calling it's self now) is, God help poor Ted.

So glad there are kind and genuine people here that have helped you find your lovely boy. May you and Windsor have many happy years. :D

Your story resonated deeply with me, as my ex loaned one of my mares to an internet "friend" whilst I was in rehab after a serious accident left me unable to walk. I haven't seen her in eight years.

Yes, ex is still alive barely, had the good sense to move to the other side of the country.

The awareness campaign is a great idea

TedsMum is not unique sadly, although her 'modus operandi' on this board hopefully is a one off.

So please everyone do make your friends aware of what can happen if you sell cheaply or gift a horse to a ''good home'' and those being sold on loan are a nightmare. The latest being RED, do help us look for him, full details coming as quickly as MHOL manages to get proper contact with owner but picture available on Facebook link

If everyone who comes in NL also checks stolen and trace section regularly that is a lot of pairs of eyes watching for missing horses and everyone helping each other.
